Surface engineering
Surface engineering for plastics

In our surface engineering processes, we use the latest units to create the most diverse surface designs. Our scope of services spans from painting and chromium plating through to laser engraving and printing. The aim is a functional or decorative surface finish.
We have been successfully operating a robot unit since 2006, and an ultra-modern high-end finishing unit since 2020.

Our special area: Chromium-effect painting

Chromium-effect paints are basic paints that contain extremely fine aluminium pigments. They are expected to achieve up to 95% of the mirror finish of the galvanically produced "genuine" chromium. This is an environmentally-friendly and high-quality process for producing metallic-effect surfaces. The process is chromium (VI) free and complies with the REACH regulation. The painting process is carried out on a newly created painting unit designed specifically for this purpose. This allows 1-3 coat systems to be realised in a continuous process.
What makes us surface experts? Decades of experience with the most diverse surface requirements.

Range of products and services
Selective printing process by inkjet technology. This process allows us to print the components with up to four colors in one step.

All kinds of highly reflective surfaces or colour systems in a single or multicoat design can be created, e.g. piano black.
Modern and energy-efficient waste air purification plants allow all paint systems to be used without restrictions.
Laser marker selectively removes individual coats from multicoated parts to reveal the translucent plastic material.
Surface finishing with corrosion-resistant precious metals makes the parts especially hard and resistant to corrosion.
A coat of paint can be applied to create highly scratch resistant surfaces on plastic parts. These surfaces can be offered as pure clear coat and coloured systems, e.g. piano black.
One of the most important processes for printing plastic parts: thanks to the indirect intaglio printing process and a high degree of elasticity, pad printing is the ideal solution for printing on a diverse range of plastic materials and shapes. This is achieved on various printers with 1 to 4 colours.
All paint finishing systems are equipped with UV cabins. The existing technology allows the use of mono and dual cure systems.

Our plants meet the highest demands on process quality, environmental protection and paint technologies.
