The first ever 120-hour training course has been developed for eight plastics engineers in collaboration with other players from the plastics industry. The entire training course, the symposium and the closing ceremony took place in the WAREMA PT Hungary Kft. production hall in Nagykanizsa.
Katalin László, Commercial Manager at WAREMA PT Hungary, confirmed during the symposium press conference that skilled workers are in great demand in the plastics industry and that this initiative was a promising solution. More training courses are to follow in the wake of this successful pilot programme.
Michael Schäflein, Technical Director at WAREMA PT Hungary, explained the plan to expand capacities at the Gyál and Nagykanizsa sites and how this will increase demand for skilled workers at WAREMA. In the medium term, employee numbers are set to double in the Nagykanizsa production department alone.
WAREMA is expanding its capacities and competences so that it can meet all future customer requirements in Hungary.
